On the east coast of North Sulawesi lies the incomparable Lembeh Strait, a macro photographer's Paradise and Muck Divers heaven. Central Sulawesi offers the spectacular diving at Walea, one of the islands in the secluded Togian Archipelago located between Borneo and the Moluccas, in the middle of the Sulawesi Sea. The island has volcanic origins and there is wonderful blue lagoon that surrounds the white sandy beaches. Against the background of the exuberant tropical forest is the enticing blue sea. The reef in Walea is absolutely uncontaminated as diving started here only a few years ago. The diving is spectacular combining the best of Big Fish life and pelagics with some of the largest concentrations of macro life to be found in Indonesia.
