The only requirement you need is an open mind and a good sense of humour. This action filled one-week itinerary explores remote and unspoiled regions of Costa Rica in a unique and exciting way. You'll have the opportunity of experiencing " once in a lifetime " adventures. Thrilling tours, spectacular scenery, great food and friendly locals will make this a trip that will not soon be forgotten. Day 1: Arrive San Jose and transfer by private guide to Sarapiqui. Overnight.  Day 2: Breakfast and depart for an exciting day of White Water rafting on the Sarapiqui River, Class III section. The Sarapiqui River offers some of Costa Rica's most lush and vibrant scenery. Clear mountain streams tumble down through thick rainforests making it an excellent journey for nature lovers, as the river stretches through lush vegetation that is home to hummingbirds, toucans, woodpeckers, and scores of other native bird species. Day 3: After breakfast, you can choose one of two exciting tours - horseback riding or taking a guided hike in this beautiful lush rain forest. Afternoon transfer to Tabacon Hot Springs Resort in the Arenal Volcano area. Time to relax and enjoy the beautiful hot springs. Entrance to the hot springs and dinner at Tabacon are included. Overnight at the Arenal Lodge, which has stunning views of the Volcano. (Breakfast, Dinner)  Day 4: Breakfast is served before you depart on one of these exciting tours. Today you can choose to explore the beautiful lush rainforest around Lake Arenal by mountain bike, go by horseback to view the magnificent 40-meter waterfall at Fortuna or join in on an Arenal Volcano hike. Day 5: After Breakfast we will transfer you to beautiful Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica's most famous national park, where tropical rain forest meets dazzling white sand. Observe some of the rarest and most fascinating animal life in the world. Costa Rica is home to more than 9000 species of birds and animals, many of which call this home. Your afternoon tours will include an Ocean Outrigger canoe trip which is like "rafting on the ocean" or Ocean Sea Kayaking. Overnight at the beautiful Casitas Eclipse. (Breakfast)  Day 6: Breakfast before you enjoy a morning tour. Choose horseback riding at one of two beautiful locations, or climb high into the jungle canopy for an exciting canopy tour. Your afternoon is free at leisure to enjoy this beautiful area. Overnight Casitas Eclipse. (Breakfast, Lunch)
 Day 7: Breakfast before you enjoy your choice of the Manuel Antonio Coastal Paddle or Kayaking at the Damas Island Estuary. Paddle by islands that are nesting sites for unique coastal birdlife or explore a unique mangrove ecosystem which is abundant with wildlife. Overnight Casitas Eclipse. (Breakfast, Lunch)
