Divers search the world to find the elusive Whale Shark. Here at Lankayan Island, regular sightings of these massive and majestic creatures can be seen between March and late May. Pelagics also abound here. Large schools of yellow tail barracudas, jacks, and large bumphead parrotfish are always exciting to encounter. You are sure to appreciate the large stretches of unspoiled lettuce and staghorn coral, the many varieties of soft corals, feather stars, sponges and sea fans.

Lankayan Island is also a true Macroworld paradise. The pristine reefs are filled with numerous juvenile fishes, clown anemone fishes, decorator and spider crabs, coral shrimps, nudibranchs, prawn gobies and such rarer subjects as jawfish, mandarine fish, ornate ghost pipefish and frogfish.
