Sipadan Island is quite possibly, "One of the Best Diving Destinations in the World." Rising from a depth of more than 2,800 feet from the bottom of the Celebes Sea, Sipadan Island is surrounded by shallow coral reefs suddenly giving way to some of the best wall diving in the world. A magnet for marine creatures, divers will see dozens of turtles, twirling tornados of thousands of chevron barracudas, a shimmering rolling ball of hundreds of jacks, herds of massive giant bumphead parrotfish and scores of white tip reef sharks.
