(Tour Code BOB12) This Fantastic tour of Borneo combines a week of unforgettable, world class diving with an adventure deep into the ancient jungles of Borneo. You'll have the opportunity to dive the fantastic walls of Sipadan Island and see the incredible macro world of Mabul and Kapalai Islands. Explore the amazing flora and fauna of the jungle, and enjoy a unique encounter with the Orang Utan, Borneo's Man of the Forest, found only in Borneo. This itinerary highlights the best of both worlds (above and below the water) in fascinating Sabah. DAY 01 - Domestic flight from Kota Kinabalu to Tawau and land/sea transfer to Mabul Island.  DAY 01 - 08 - Spend 8 wonderful days and 7 relaxing nights at beautiful Sipadan Mabul Resort in a twin share beach chalet with private bathroom and AC. You'll have 3 boat dives daily at Sipadan, Mabul and Kapalai Islands and unlimited shore diving and night shore diving at Mabul. All meals and beverages (except alcoholic and carbonated soft drinks) are included. (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
DAY 08 - Depart Mabul Island back to Tawau airport for your onward flight to Sandakan. Arrive Sandakan and transfer from the airport to the deluxe Sabah Hotel. Overnight.  DAY 09 - Proceed to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre to witness the feeding of the Orang-utans at 10am. Continue on a boat journey to Sukau Rainforest Lodge with an opportunity to view birds and wildlife in virgin mangroves and rainforest habitats. Late afternoon take a river cruise in search of the Proboscis monkeys. Return for solar heated hot shower, candle light dinner and slide show conducted by naturalist guide. Overnight.  DAY 10 - Wake up to the calls of gibbons and hornbills. A 6.00 am morning river cruise up the Kinabatangan River to view more birds and wildlife. In the afternoon we proceed for another river cruise for more wildlife. After dinner an optional (at a surcharge) night safari cruise spotting nocturnal animals, crocodiles and birds. Overnight.  DAY 11 - After breakfast, return to Sandakan by boat. Lunch and a short tour of Sandakan are included before your transfer to the airport for your departure flight to Kota Kinabalu. Overnight at Hotel Shangri La (Breakfast / Lunch)
DAY 12 - Breakfast and transfer to the airport for your departing flight.
