The Galapagos Islands are located approximately 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador and diving here is unparalleled in the world. The sheer uniqueness of the species ( 25% are endemic to the islands ) and the prolific numbers you'll encounter, make the Galapagos a " Must See " and should be on every serious divers list.

The islands are a National Park, and have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The splendid isolation of the islands is home to exotic flora and fauna, unique in the world. Only a few birds and reptiles were able to cross the vast expanse of the ocean and establish themselves on the islands. Slowly, in the absence of major predators, these ancestors evolved into some of the most wondrous, unusual animals in the world.
